40-Hr. Asbestos Contractor/Supervisor Initial - Jessup
Description
This course meets initial training requirements of the EPA, OSHA, and state agencies for individuals who perform asbestos abatement and EPA and OSHA requirements for on-site competent persons. Additionally, training requirements are completed for the following OSHA Standards: Respiratory Protection (fit testing), Fire Extinguisher Use, Personal Protective Equipment, Fall Protection and Bloodborne Pathogens exposures. National Safety Council First Aid/CPR certification is included.
Note: Respirator Fit Testing may be provided during this session for individuals who are medically cleared and clean-shaven in the area of the facepiece seal. You must bring your own respirator. Smoking, eating, and drinking is prohibited 30 minutes prior to the actual fit tests. If you would like to be fit tested in this class, please let the instructor know.
