8-Hr. Permit-Required Confined Space (Entrant, Attendant, Supervisor)
Description
Permit-Required Confined Space (PRCS) Training prepares employees to safely enter, monitor, and supervise confined spaces that present serious safety or health hazards, as defined by OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146. These spaces have limited entry or exit, are not designed for continuous occupancy, and may contain risks such as hazardous atmospheres, engulfment, entrapment, or other dangerous conditions.
This course equips authorized entrants, attendants, and entry supervisors with the knowledge and skills to identify hazards, conduct atmospheric testing, use protective equipment, follow permit procedures, maintain communication, and initiate emergency response. Participants learn how to evaluate risks, implement controls, and comply with OSHA requirements to prevent injuries and fatalities.
