40-Hr. Hazardous Waste Worker/Supervisor/TSD - Mechanicsburg
Description
This 5-day course provides comprehensive instruction in hazardous waste operations and emergency response in compliance with OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.120. Designed for professionals who work on or near hazardous waste sites, this training blends classroom instruction with hands-on exercises and real-world case studies led by experienced industry instructors.
Participants gain practical knowledge in site characterization, personal protective equipment (PPE), decontamination procedures, and emergency response operations. Training includes the following OSHA Standards: Respiratory Protection, Fire Extinguisher Use, Personal Protective Equipment, Fall Protection and Bloodborne Pathogens exposures.
As part of the course, students also earn National Safety Council (NSC) First Aid, CPR, and AED certification, which carries a two-year certification.
